The traditional central main gate defines the grand entry to the park Constructed in stone masonry and timber with rich traditional Bhutanese featured paintings. The gate welcomes visitors with a traditional ambience. The landscaped frontage with seating features breathing space before entering the park. The south gate complements the existing traditional Bazam Bridge connecting the Changji Neighbourhood. The flower-themed paintings and carvings reminiscence the overall sense of the riverfront park. Walking Areas:
A 1 km loop of walking paths and jogging tracks along with intermediate shaded resting benches connects all the features of the park. the looping paths combined with carefully considered wayfinding strategies provide educational experiences for visitors, school children and the local community. the internal circulation seamlessly integrates into the overall non-motorised transport frameworks of the city forming a network of interconnected parks and gardens along the Wangchhu river corridor site features a mini-mobility hub where the car parking area is integrated with.
Entrance Fees for Tourists and Locals: Locals have to pay Nu 20 per entry and tourist need to pay Nu.100.
Timing of Changyul Park: The park opens at 0900 in the morning and stays open till 10 PM at night.
