Important Update for Bangladeshi Nationals
Bhutan Travel from Bangladesh. The Royal Government of Bhutan is pleased to announce that it has approved the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) for Bangladeshi nationals. As per the new regulations, Bangladeshi nationals must pay a nightly charge of USD 15 per person.
Additionally, Bangladeshi nationals can now apply for their visa online or obtain it on arrival at the Paro International Airport. This convenient option simplifies the travel process and makes it easier for citizens to visit Bhutan.
Please note that all other requirements and regulations for visiting Bhutan remain unchanged. We encourage all Bangladeshi nationals to plan their trip to Bhutan and experience this beautiful country’s unique culture and natural beauty.
SDF Discount Details for Bangladesh National:
• USD 15 per person per night SDF of Bangladesh National.
• How to Make SDF Payment:? You can make payment upon arrival at Paro airport on arrival in Cash.
• Visa: Your Visa will be stamped upon arrival at the Airport.
The SDF of USD 15 per person per night is only valid for the first 15000 Bangladesh passport holders. The SDF doesn’t include any services like transport, guidance or meals. This is just the royalty to the Government for Sustainable Tourism. The SDF of US$ 15 goes into developing infrastructure and maintaining national parks and sights in the Country.
Documents Required to apply for a permit
Documents required for Bangladesh nationals are valid passports with a minimum validity of 6 months and passport-size photographs to apply for the permit. The payment should be made to us or transferred via bank in dollars. Upon paying the SDF, they can also get a Permit upon arrival at the airport.
