Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrival at Paro Airport

Drive to Thimphu. Thimphu is the most crowded city in Bhutan. Being the capital city Thimphu has around 100000 people living in the area. Must-visit places in Thimphu are Simply Bhutan Museum, Trashichhodzong and Textile Museum.

Day 2 :
Thimphu to Punakha

Drive to Punakha. Punakha is the old capital of Bhutan. Till 1952 the district served as the capital of Bhutan with Punakha Dzong as the administer centre. The Dzong pays the vital role in both politics and religious matter.

Day 3 :
Punakha to Trongsa Night halt in Trongsa

Drive to Trongsa and visit Trongsa Dzong.

Day 4 :
Trongsa to Tongtongphai

Lunch at Yurmung . After lunch watch butterflies. Night halt at Tongtongphai. Camping.Today we shall spend our whole day watching and finding butterflies.

Day 5 :
Watch for butterflies all day

Watch butteflies whole day.
Halt at Tongtongphai. Camping.

Day 6 :
After breakfast, drive to Pangzur Watch for butterflies all day. Night halt at Pangzur

You shall spend whole day watching Butteflies.

Day 7 :
Drive to Punakha Lunch at Chendebji Night halt in Punakha Hotel.

Today we drive to Punakha and if time permits we shall visit longest suspensin bridge. The bridge connects villages with Punakha Dzong.

Day 8 :
After breakfast, visit the Punakha Dzong. Visit the Chimi Lhakhang .Drive to Thimphu.

After Punakha Sightseeing drive to Thimphu. Visit Textile Museum followed by 13th Arts and Crafts School where a live show performed by students can be viewed. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 9 :
Thimphu to Paro Airport and See OFF

Butterfly Tour in Bhutan ends here today. After breakfast drive to Paro Airport and see off.
