The Trek is just a day program starting from Paro by road to Chelela Pass and beginning the downhill walk. The trek covers the beautiful Kila Goenpa monastery. The monastery is a serene home for Buddhist nuns who have dedicated their lives to spiritual fulfilment and leading undisturbed lives of religious studies, prayer and meditation. The monastery is about a 1-hour walk from Chelela through magnificent woods. Bhutan has so many trekking Tours available for trekkers enthusiast.

Detail Itinerary
Arrive at Paro airport from your travel destination. As you land at Paro airport you will come across many small villages. Paro is a small fertile valley in western Bhutan. The place offers a beautiful view of Paro airport and traditional villages from a viewpoint where you will be going. Overnight at Hotel.
Visit Dochula pass one of the beautiful passes that offer excellent views of ten Himalayan ranges including Gangkar Puensum Bhutans highest Mountain. Dochula Pass is about 45 minutes drive from Thimphu. The Pass offers not only the view of the Himalayas but also offers a beautiful hike.
Enjoy the day with coffee at Dochula Cafe and drive back to Paro. Drive back to Paro and rest at Hotel.
Drive to Chelela pass. Chele La (Pass) & Haa Valley Only (Border of the Bhutan and China): At an elevation of 3,988 meters is considered to be one of the highest motorable passes in Bhutan. About an hour’s drive along a thickly-forested road is this Pass-a botanical paradise.
The pass provides stunning views of the sacred mountain Jhomolhari and Jichu Drake. It is also marked by hundreds of prayer flags fluttering in the wind. Here, visitors can see cascades of wild roses; purple and yellow primulas; and swathes of deep blue iris covering the forest floor.
The top of the pass bloom with rhododendrons in a variety of colors-pale pink, deep pink, burnt orange, mauve, white and scarlet. Start the trek towards Kiligoenpa. It is one hour trek from Chelela. In Evening: Stroll Through the Market of Paro& Overnight Stay at Paro.
