The Prakhar Duchhoed is held at the Prakhar Goemba, in the Chumey Valley of Bumthang, which is about half an hour’s drive from Chamkhar town.During the festival, a variety of mask dances are performed. The event is held in honor of Lama Thukse Dawa, a son of the revered Buddhist guru Terton Pema Lingpa who lived in the fifteenth century.
