Itinerary

Arrive Bhutan at Paro International Airport. Our Guide will receive you at the airport and drive you to Thimphu. Thimphu is the capital city of Bhutan with population of about 100000 people residing in the district. Thimphu has total area of about 1809 sq. Km with elevation from 1300m to 7300m above sea level.

Besides its position as the seat of Government, the districts have many glittering monumnets, temples, monasteries which makes the place the most visited district in the country by tourist.

Your Thimphu tours start from visiting Memorial Chorten and Simply Bhutan museam. In the afternoon visit Changangkha monastery founded by lama Phajom Drugom in the 13th century. In the evening stroll the beautiful town of Thimphu. You can also visit Cafe and live music bar.

Today we prepared ourselves for Heli Tour. The tour is about 2 hours and covers Jumolhari Mountain, Punakha Dzong, Paro valley, and Thimphu. The heli tour takes deep into the Kingdom flying over Homestead, Farmlands, and pine forests.

Explore the best of Punakha. Visit Punakha Dzong in the morning and afternoon and spend time walking the longest suspension bridge. The bridge connects the two remote villages of Punakha with Punakha Dzong.

Paro is 130 km from Punakha and takes about 3 hours to drive following the winding road crossing the beautiful Dochula Pass. Paro is also the only International airport of Bhutan that connects Bhutan with the outside world. Visit the handicraft shop at Paro town for souvenirs and memories to take back home.

Our Guide and drive will drop you to the airport. Its always better to pack your things a day before departure so that you dont leave anything behind. The airport is about 15 minutes drive from your Hotel.
