Itinerary

Arrival at Paro Airport. Flight to Bhutan is one of the most beautiful Himalayan experiences. If you take the left seat while coming from Delhi or Kathmandu you witness the amazing Mt. Everest, Mt. Annapurna, Mt Makalu, and the grand Himalayan Range. Upon landing you will be received by our Tour Bhutan team and drive you to Thimphu. If time permits we shall take you for a short hike towards Kuenselphodrang where the largest and tallest Buddha statue is located. The walk is leisure through the pine forest towards the statue. Over Night at Hotel.

Thimphu Tour. Today we take you to the Tango monastery. It is a 1-hour drive from the main Thimphu cities. Upon reaching the monastery the walk takes you about 1 hour towards the temple. Upon reaching the temple you get the opportunity to interact with monks and if lucky with the head of lama there in the monastery. Evening back to Hotel.

Punakha is perfect Walking Holidays in Bhutan. Today we start our journey to Punakha. On the way, we stay at Dochula Pass for some sightseeing. The pass offers a 360-degree views of 10 Himalayan mountain ranges. To stretch your nerves we shall take you for a quick uphill walk towards the mountain where the meditation center is been built. Driver further down to Punakha and visit Chimi Lhakhang (No Dog temple) built by famouse saint Drukpa Kuenley. The temple is about 20 minutes walk from road point. Over Night at Hotel.

Drive to Phobjikha the valley of Black Necked Crane. Its a beautiful valley with approximtely 500 people living in the area. Explore the valley.

Gangtey to Trongsa is 3 hours road drive. Upon reaching trongsa visit Trongsa Dzong. Taa dzong where secret holy book written in gold is kept inside the museam. Over Night at Hotel.

Today we go to Bumthang the beautifull wide valley in eastern Bhutan. Upon reaching Bumthang you shall have your own leisure time and go around the small city of Bumthang. Over night at Hotel.

Bumthang has many touristic places within walking distance. Visit Jakar Dzong, Kichu Monastery, and Burning Lake.

Ura valley is one of the remotest and oldest valley that lies at an altitude of 3100M from sea level. The valley offers you with spectacular view of old archtecture of Bhutanese houses. Walk around the village and interact with people of Ura. Over night at Bumthang.

Today you take the domestic flights to Paro from Batpalathang airport in Bumthang. The flight takes about 25 minutes. Upon reaching Paro our team from Tour Bhutan will receive you and drive you to Haa.

Day 10 :
Haa to Paro

After breakfast holidays in Bhutan also includes a walk around Haa town and drive back to Paro. Upon reaching chelela pass walk down to Kiligoenpa temple. The temple lies in the moddle of the pinewood forest. The temple have around 50 nuns living in the area.

Day 11 :
Paro Hike

Walk up to the famous Tiger Nest Temple. The walk takes about 3 hours from the base camp through the pinewood forest.

Day 12 :
See off

Your 12 Days Walking Holidays in Bhutan ends here today. Before you leave the hotel make sure you check your documents, luggage and other items. Our Guide and driver will accompany you till airport and see you off.

  • 90% refund for the tour cancelled before 45 days of arrival date, payment transfer charges will be charged.

  • No refund for the tour cancelled less than 30 days of arrival date and for the change of itinerary.
  • However, you can choose to travel with us within 6 months under the same payment.
  • If cancelled due to our border closure due to Covid 100% refundable but transfer charges will be applicable.
