Bhutan Visa Application should be applied before traveling to Bhutan. Visa cannot be obtained from any Bhutan embassy abroad or offices. Foreigners planning to travel to Bhutan should contact the local travel agent or abroad agent who has the affiliation with the local agent for Visa. Documents required to process your Visa are your valid passport copy having more than 6months validity, confirmed air tickets, and Hotel bookings. Upon completion of all formalities, you will receive the Visa approval letter from your agent issued by the Bhutan Immigration office. You will have to download that letter and print it. The letter has to be shown to the immigration officer upon arrival at Paro International airport. Your Bhutan visa will be stamped upon verification of the eVisa.
