Day 1 :

Arrival at Paro Airport and drive to Thimphu. Distance 60KM | Driving time 1 Hour | Altitude 2400M.

Fly on the wings of a Dragon to the international airport in Paro, Bhutan. On a clear day, the panoramic views of the Himalayas are sensational, including Mt. Everest (if you are flying from Delhi and Kathmandu). Particularly exciting is the approach through the Bhutanese foothills and the landing, including a few steep turns to land at the tiny airstrip of Paro.

On arrival in Paro, you will be received by the Tour Bhutan team by offering welcome scarves and transferred to Thimphu by private vehicle.

Drive to Thimphu. Visit Thimphu Weekend Market vendors from different pockets of the country who come to sell their products. In the evening, we will explore the city by walking. Overnight in Thimphu, altitude 2400m.

Day 2 :

Thimphu to Punakha City Tour | Distance 72.8 KM | Driving Time 2 Hours 8 Minutes via Dochula Pass | Altitude 1200M.

On your 5 Days Bhutan Tour, ,drive to Punakha via Dochula pass. If the weather is clear, we stop for a while at Dochula Pass to view the Higher Himalayas. On the way, visit Chime Lhakhang, which was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley. The Temple is also known as “the Temple of Fertility”. Lunch at Punakha.

Visit Punakha Dzong, built in 1637 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, situated between Pho Chu (Male River) and Mo Chu (Female River). Later explore the beautiful valley of Punakha. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 3 :

Punakha to Haa Valley Trip. Distance 171KM | Driving Time 5 Hours | Altitude ranges from 1000 to 3988m above sea level

The Haa Valley is located in the western part of Bhutan, near the country's only international airport. The valley is surrounded by rich natural biodiversity. Its age-old living tradition has been preserved since time immemorial. It has been considered one of the top 25 destinations to visit by BBC Travel in 2025.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Mountain Cafe or a similar establishment. Visit this pristine village and stay overnight at the Hotel. There is also a popular Haa summer festival you can attend.

Day 4 :

Haa to Paro. Distance 65.2 KM | Driving Time 2 Hours 3 Minutes via Chelela Pass at 3988M.

It is 2 hours drive from Haa to Paro passing the highest road point of Chelela pass (3988M). Today we shall hike down the beautiful Kiligoenpa trail. The hike is about 2 hours from the starting point. Evening visit Paro farmhouse and enjoy the local wine and meals prepared by the host. Overnight at Hotel

Day 5 :

Paro to Onward Journey. 15 Minutes drive to Airport from your Hotel. Altitude 2300M.
